Montezuma beach is located on the Nicoya peninsular, on the northern pacific of Costa Rica. It is a paradise where there is a diverse range of flora and fauna close to the conservation station.
This research Centre is located in the small town of Montezuma, and the residents of the area are full of positivity and energy. It is an ideal place to conduct research of sea turtles, because on this beach various species of turtles come to nest, such as the Olive Ridley, the leatherback, and the black turtle.
The community is very involved in the optimum development of our conservation project, and we also participate in community awareness, by environmental education programs in the school and neighboring villages. Come and share with us the experience of protecting, conserving and research with an educational hand.
